The Sherwood Avid BC features the NEW CQR 2 weight-pocket system for a more secure, comfortable dive-plus two, non-releasing, trim weight pockets that can hold up to 10 additional pounds.
The Avid BC has a 3-D designed air cell and suspension strap system that provides a stable and secure fit eliminating squeeze when fully inflated. Also has dual nylon tank straps with adjustable cam buckles that thread through the unique MiniPacT to tightly secure your cylinder.

The auto-closure device (ACD) keeps corrosive water out of the first stage thereby ensuring top performance.  The balanced diaphragm first stage, by the nature of its design, is environmentally sealed and provides superior, consistent performance from beginning of dive to end of dive. A pneumatically balanced second stage results in superior ease-of-breathing. Available in yoke or DIN, the T-shape of the first stage optimizes the location of the 4 MP ports and 1 HP port. Its’ lightweight makes it a great travel companion. Uses parts that are common to other Aqua Lung models for easier servicing. The easy-to-grip venturi lever prevents unwanted free flow at the surface while giving a performance boost at depth. Compatible with nitrox, up to 40% O2, new out of the box. Equipped with Aqua Lung’s patented Comfo-bite mouthpiece along with a reusable mouthpiece clamp. The Supreme cold water version is resistant to freezing when diving in waters colder tan 50°F / 10°C.

This reliable console provides outstanding accuracy and durability - and, as its name suggests, it is very compact. Clip anchors allow secure connection to BCD to streamline diver's profile. With the depth gauge and compass on the same side, depth and direction are easily monitored simultaneously. The compass is mounted at an angle above the depth gauge, for side-reading gun-sight accurate navigation. The pressure gauge is located on the flip side.
